Pilates Barrels are among the main machines of the Pilates method, designed by Joseph Pilates himself. There are two main types: the Ladder Barrel and the Step Barrel (or Spine Corrector ). Both are essential tools in the most equipped Pilates centers.

Ladder Barrel

The Ladder Barrel is ideal for improving spinal flexibility and strengthening the core. This tool:

The Step Barrel or Spine Corrector is designed to improve the strength and flexibility of the back while working the legs or other parts of the body. This tool:

  • It is smaller than the Ladder Barrel, usable on the ground.
  • Facilitates spinal exercises, supporting various body positions.
